Bars For My Mother

Mom...
I apologize for everything that I've become
I'm nothing but a selfish being who forgot where he comes from
So along the patterns of these drums I hope you'll understand
That seeing you in pain is something I can't really witshtand
I know it's hard, I know you'e scarred and feeling under the weather
So with this letter, I hope you realize that you deserve better
Took you for granted as I didn't fathom your true value
Tears of blood shed from your eyelids for everytime we argued
Tried pleasing variables while forgetting my life's main constant
I write this with tears as my pain and regret remain constant
I write this with tears smudging the ink I squeeze on this paper
I just wish our bad memories would all disappear like vapour
I'm not perfect, nor are you .. but your love is real and true
And that's all that really matters in my humble point of view
I'm sorry, I hope that my apology can tear down this wall
Much love to the only woman who was there through it all

The Repentance

I grief ..
Being convinced to drowning into disbelief
Betrayed my army just to please the opposition's chief
Left the angels on the bench while I danced with the devils
Finding it hard to escape my sins on many different levels
Forsakened my only hope to stop the struggle in a second
Reconed that the devil's ways are tough to decypher and fecund
Thrown on the throne of blasphemy thus I strive to atone
I write this with tears streaming down my cheak bone
With regret choking me and blame bleeding from my wrists
Never thought my narcissistic ways would lead me down to this
I sold my soul to the devil in a moment of despair
I sold my soul to the cause of my pain for a cheap fare
Condemned my self to a life long, eternal sentence
So I write this as my last hope for divine repentance
Shrouded In fear, as that was the wrong person to offend
I'll just keep hoping wings of punishment would choose to ascend..

Dying Bird

Imagine if I died today, left without a soul
Would I be just a digit on the increasing death toll
Or would I be honored, mourned, embraced and cried over
Sober attendants drunkened by sorrow in groups like Tri-clovers
Would those who abandoned me behind feel any pain?
Would they even show up, if enough courage was attained?
Would I be embraced by angels, or forever cursed like Caine?
I only hope that I die for a cause, not left soulless in vain
Let every tear that sheds through my mother's eyes and cheeks
Inflourish the ground it lands on into eden, the land of eve
Struggle has pain begotten like calm has storms forgotten
No matter what I've done my intentions were as pure as cotton
If I got to stay for a longer while, I'd go a further mile
To grab your sobby faces and light them up with a smile
Cry not for me, be happy as I left this wicked world
Cry not for me, be happy as I fly free as a bird

Insomnia

Surrounded but alone, staring at nothing but the mist
With dehumanized Humans, with feelings ceasing to exist
Trying to resist conforming to what anyone expects
Paid your respects? Leave and let them lay me down to rest
Fought negative thoughts but they're turning to reality
What I go through, trust me you'd consider it brutality
I'll never sleep, I'll never rest until they get me buried
Hurried through childhood, and spent most of my teen years worried
Never belonged here, no, not in a world full of hate
in a world full of envy, lust and dirty sin-filled slates
Spending days tryna get outta this maze Where I'm trapped
Spent years tryna adapt, but there's just no turning back
Deprived by the sorrow, while struggling with all the pain
As if I'm handing umbrellas while soaking in the rain
Tried to simplify it to you word by word, rhyme by rhyme
Maybe all this would get better in a different lifetime
