Dying Bird
Imagine if I died today, left without a soul
Would I be just a digit on the increasing death toll
Or would I be honored, mourned, embraced and cried over
Sober attendants drunkened by sorrow in groups like Tri-clovers
Would those who abandoned me behind feel any pain?
Would they even show up, if enough courage was attained?
Would I be embraced by angels, or forever cursed like Caine?
I only hope that I die for a cause, not left soulless in vain
Let every tear that sheds through my mother's eyes and cheeks
Inflourish the ground it lands on into eden, the land of eve
Struggle has pain begotten like calm has storms forgotten
No matter what I've done my intentions were as pure as cotton
If I got to stay for a longer while, I'd go a further mile
To grab your sobby faces and light them up with a smile
Cry not for me, be happy as I left this wicked world
Cry not for me, be happy as I fly free as a bird
Take Care,
