Dying Bird

Imagine if I died today, left without a soul
Would I be just a digit on the increasing death toll
Or would I be honored, mourned, embraced and cried over
Sober attendants drunkened by sorrow in groups like Tri-clovers
Would those who abandoned me behind feel any pain?
Would they even show up, if enough courage was attained?
Would I be embraced by angels, or forever cursed like Caine?
I only hope that I die for a cause, not left soulless in vain
Let every tear that sheds through my mother's eyes and cheeks
Inflourish the ground it lands on into eden, the land of eve
Struggle has pain begotten like calm has storms forgotten
No matter what I've done my intentions were as pure as cotton
If I got to stay for a longer while, I'd go a further mile
To grab your sobby faces and light them up with a smile
Cry not for me, be happy as I left this wicked world
Cry not for me, be happy as I fly free as a bird

Insomnia

Surrounded but alone, staring at nothing but the mist
With dehumanized Humans, with feelings ceasing to exist
Trying to resist conforming to what anyone expects
Paid your respects? Leave and let them lay me down to rest
Fought negative thoughts but they're turning to reality
What I go through, trust me you'd consider it brutality
I'll never sleep, I'll never rest until they get me buried
Hurried through childhood, and spent most of my teen years worried
Never belonged here, no, not in a world full of hate
in a world full of envy, lust and dirty sin-filled slates
Spending days tryna get outta this maze Where I'm trapped
Spent years tryna adapt, but there's just no turning back
Deprived by the sorrow, while struggling with all the pain
As if I'm handing umbrellas while soaking in the rain
Tried to simplify it to you word by word, rhyme by rhyme
Maybe all this would get better in a different lifetime

Take Care,
